To pursue this mission, ProNerve has surrounded itself and filled its ranks with some of the most experienced, proven individuals in the industry. Below are snapshots of some of our key players.
Brent Ness, President/Chief Development Officer

Brent joined ProNerve as the Chief Development Officer in November of 2008 and quickly ascended to the post of President. At Medtronic Navigation where he served as VP, Global Sales and Marketing, Brent’s team successfully doubled the top line in less than four years. Under his leadership, the Navigation division enjoyed the position within Medtronic as the fastest growing division, both top and bottom line. Prior to that, he progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and corporate accounts with industry leading companies such as Philips Medical as the Vice President of Sales Operations, North America, GE Medical Systems, Pegasus Airwave Inc. and The Global Healthcare Exchange. As a turn Around Management Consultant for Alliance Management Inc., Brent also led several companies through operational and financial restructuring events, delivering them from insolvency.
Brent received his undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of North Dakota and his Executive MBA from the University of Colorado.
Bill Case, Chief Operating Officer

Bill joined ProNerve as Chief Operating Officer in April of 2009. Bill brings rich experience leading large organizational change, operational effectiveness, and growth strategies, most recently serving as VP of Global Shared Services for TeleTech Holdings. Under Bill’s leadership, TeleTech’s shared services organization launched centers of excellence in three continents with over 1,000 staff while driving significant service quality improvements in operations, quality assurance, human capital, finance, and accounting services. Prior to TeleTech, Bill served as Global Operations Services Leader-HRBPO for Hewitt Associates, where he led major consulting and business process outsourcing engagements with Fortune 100 clients. Previously, he served in executive, management, and staff roles at AT&T Broadband, PacifiCare, and Eli Lilly.
Bill holds a Bachelors of Science degree in finance and marketing as well as a Master’s of Science degree in information technology from the University of Colorado. Bill also earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Greg Paschke, CPA, Chief Financial Officer

Greg joined ProNerve in September 2009 as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Greg has spent his entire 23 year career in various healthcare related finance roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Lanx, Inc, a privately held medical device company where his responsibilities encompassed all areas of financial management, including accounting, international finance, reporting, budgeting, annual audit, taxation, forecasting, business analysis, sales invoicing, cash collections and treasury. Prior to that, Greg was the Director of Corporate Finance for Pharmion Corporation, a publicly traded global biotechnology company, where his duties included corporate accounting, management of international finance, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, budgeting, treasury and risk management. Prior to Pharmion, Greg spent over 11 years with U.S. Oncology, a publicly traded national physician practice management organization specializing in oncology, including seven years as a Regional Director of Finance responsible for all financial activities of a $500 million region. Greg spent the first six years of his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, LLP, specializing in auditing of healthcare, manufacturing and SEC clients.
Greg received his Bachelors of Science degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado – Boulder and has been a licensed CPA since 1989.
James F. Higgins, Vice President of Clinical Affairs

Jim joined ProNerve in January of 2009. Jim most recently directed the intraoperative monitoring program at Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI), one of the world’s premier neurosurgical institutes where he began intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring in 1986. Under Jim's supervision over the last 17 years, the BNI IOM program, one of the busiest in the world, grew four times in volume of work while reducing operating expenses by two thirds. While at BNI, Jim developed and implemented the first team-based remote monitoring system in the country. Over the course of his career, he has personally monitored more than 20,000 cases and supervised remotely an additional 50,000 procedures. Jim has been instrumental in the design of new IOM equipment which is critical to the implementation of the remote monitoring system he first pioneered at BNI.
Jim is a graduate of Arizona State and Ottawa Universities and is completing his dissertation on operating room efficiency measures for a doctorate in healthcare administration at the University of Phoenix. Jim has been a guest lecturer at the Harrington Biomedical Engineering department at Arizona State University as well as at major national and international IOM professional meetings.
